Changes, Contrasts and Discontinuities. Through these variables we discover the structure of style as a symbolic representation in the context of what one might call the existential experience of time. "From concept A to concept B" is the basis for temporal meaning structures. The process arranges life into "sections" of varying lengths marked by the fact that each section presents a relationship to the preceding section of a different quality. Love is not a paradox. It unfolds in time, like a work of architecture, which might have rough edges and scarce measurements. The lover like an automoton or categorization machine (maybe like a database), receive the design through a filter of, data once gathered, and files it into a file of data, previously unknown and new. The lover is like an automoton because these functions, are unconcious, much like the chomskian language acquisition device. We recognize the smallest chunks of our love objects presence, a good lover might be able to recognize his love by a single instance of her smell, her movement or a the short blip of her voice.
